Pumpkin Spice Tea Smoothie

Pumpkin Spice Tea Smoothie
Can’t get enough of pumpkin? This Pumpkin Spice Tea Smoothie recipe will help you kickstart your day with lots of vitamins, flavor, and a bit of caffeine.

Aside from the obvious seasonal pull, there are many reasons why you might want to gulp down the pumpkin. Mainly, that spooky jack-o-lantern is a superfood chock full of beneficial vitamins -- like vitamin A and potassium -- that your body needs to function. It’s also rich in antioxidants like beta-carotene, and can help with blood pressure regulation and eye health. Plus, fiber!
The spices in the term “pumpkin spice” are also packed with good stuff. Cinnamon, for example, can reduce inflammation and fight bacteria, and it’s also helpful in lowering blood pressure as well as blood sugar levels. Cardamom contains iron and manganese and may also help fight cancer. It and ginger, another excellent pumpkin companion, both help aid the guts in digestion.
There’s no denying this smoothie packs a nutritional punch. With probiotic vanilla yogurt, frozen fruit, ground spices, and real pumpkin, your body will be ready to dance in the leaves. Blend in our Deluxe Pumpkin Spice Tea and it’s the perfect fall breakfast. Make sure you get 100 percent pumpkin puree without any added sugar or flavors -- or make your own!
