Honestly, I think she might have been intimidated by such an honored occasion (and I admit the balance in this recipe has to be just right to pull off the fruit and mint combo), but you take a sip and decide.
When I think of wild strawberry, I think of floral notes — like rose or violet — and more sweetness, and the apple pieces pull those out even more. The mint provides a constantly fresh palate for these wonderful flavors to dance upon. — Andy

BREWING TIPS:
Try a longer steep for more strawberry notes; the addition of honey brings out more delicate flavors. Strong recommend for a cold brew iced tea.

I didn't care for this tea when brewed hot, but then I tried it iced and fell in love. It's my favorite tea to cold brew because the combination of strawberry and mint is so refreshing.

My New Favorite!
I usually don't like teas with mint but Strawberry Ele-mint changed my mind! I brewed it at 205 degrees for 5 minutes like the card in my shipment recommended for more strawberry notes. This tea did not disappoint! It started with delicate floral aromas and the flavor of jammy, ripe strawberry. I noted enough mint in the finish to freshen it up. I LOVE this tea hot but do need to try it iced. I bought several packages but would love to see this tea in the regular line-up!

I absolutely love this tea. The Strawberry Ele-Mint Herbal Blend has such a clean, refreshing strawberry taste. This will be my new summer iced tea!
