Homemade Creamy Lemonade Recipe

Creamy lemonade is all over cafe menus this summer. You can make a better one at home in about two minutes with your Plum Deluxe lemonade mix.

What you need

Makes one tall glass.

2 tablespoons lemonade mix
12 ounces cold water, a little extra than the instructions state to leave room for the cream
1 to 2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk, to taste
A handful of ice

You'll also need a whisk!

How to make it

Stir 2 tablespoons of mix into the cold water until it dissolves. The extra splash of water leaves room for the condensed milk to come.
Add the sweetened condensed milk one tablespoon at a time and whisk well. Cold water needs a real whisk to blend in condensed milk, so don't just stir. Start with one tablespoon, taste, then add more if you want it richer. It can get real sweet so take it one tablespoon at a time.
Pour it over a glass of lots of ice and serve.
Want it frothy? Blend it with ice for a frozen version.

Turn it into cold foam for iced tea

That same creamy mix makes a great cold foam to pour over iced tea. Just take your final whisked mixture and pour it over an iced black tea and you've got a creamy take on an Arnold Palmer. It's nice on our fruitier blends too, and it makes earl grey sing.
