It’s a blend that’s a story about remembrance – she lost her husband to lung cancer, and reflected on the jasmine tea he found so comforting, and the addition of elderberries for immune support.
I added a splash of almond to provide a nutty, comforting, grounding presence and bring the two together. Floral and tart and nutty elements all in one tea sound like a motley crew, but I think they come together in a uniquely comforting way, and a wonderful flavor for awaking our palate for spring.

It took a couple of tries for me to appreciate Jasmine Joy. Perhaps I didn’t shake the pouch up enough on my first cup to get the full intended flavor of this tea. My second cup was quite good. It is light and subtle with a more traditional green tea taste which I enjoyed. If you aren’t sure about this tea, please give it more than a single try. It will pleasantly surprise you.

Memories of Joy
I have to start off by saying, I never thought my concept would be this great. I love the addition of the almond. I have tried both herbal and green and hot and cold and this is a new favorite. I have to say I cried at the first sip only because he drank both jasmine and green teas and always had a splash of almond milk with it.
Anyway that it was prepared reminded me of those days spent making tea for us and enjoying the company of one another. This is definitely a new addition that I hope comes around more often.

I loved this tea! It is perfect for March weather. The smell reminds me of sitting next to a honeysuckle vine. I just breathe deeply and anticipate the joy of spring.
