All of our ingredients are fairly traded, supporting ethical work conditions and fair wages for the communities that cultivate them.
Extracts and Essences
To deliver peak freshness and consistent quality, we blend and flavor our teas in-house. We use pure extracts and essences derived from real ingredients like fruits, flowers, nuts, or spices – similar to baking extracts or essential oils, but formulated specifically for the delicate art of tea blending.
Our essences and flavors are made only with real, natural ingredients – nothing artificial. You may also find essences like "butterscotch" or "caramel" in our tea ingredients. Rest assured, these aren't artificial flavorings! We use a special proprietary blend of real, natural ingredients, gently distilled and balanced to embody those rich and comforting flavor notes.
