Welcome to Day 6 of our 2023 Caffeine Advent.

Today's exclusive blend is a spiced maple tea that features an oolong base.  We have a Maple Chai during our Chai Month event, which is more like a chai that is kissed with maple.  Our tea today is heavier on the maple, with a generous portion of peppercorn and ginger.  The oolong is perfect for the woodsy note that both balances and compliments the top flavor notes.

One of my favorite things about the holidays is the cookies - and of course, gingerbread cookies!  Gingerbread typically has molasses, which can be a little dark to put in tea I think.  I remembered one year though I visited a very small German Christmas market and a vendor had these lovely little maple ginger cookies - they were sort of a modern take on gingerbread, which is what I'd consider this blend.   That said, a cup of this blend with a cookie sure would hit the spot after a day filled with festive activities.

Try it as a latte - steamed milk is great with this blend!  It's good iced too.
