THE STORY BEHIND THE TEA:
While I am our master blender, I am not the only person who can make tea at Plum Deluxe. This month our tea maker Celene — who has worked under me since 2019 — contributed this blend. She was looking to make a hazelnut vanilla tea; this month we normally talk about dessert teas and everyone is enjoying Valentine’s chocolates, so this is something simple that is great by itself or with a dessert. I also suggested a creamy vanilla, giving it a feeling of decadence without being sweet. I hope you enjoy me sharing the stage with my team; the tea makers are each doing two club teas this year.
