Superb Side Dish: Parmesan Peas, Please!
While your focus at any meal should be on attention-getting main dishes, upgrading your sides can make a big impression on guests and friends. And here at Plum Deluxe, we love to give our veggies the gourmet treatment. This easy side is one magical way to get any picky eater in your family to eat peas. It's quick and delicious.
This goes great with chicken dishes, like our herb-crusted roasted chicken or mango chicken.


Parmesan Peas


Makes 4 servings

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups frozen peas
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1/4 cup grated/shredded Parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:
Cook peas for 5 minutes in a pot of boiling water; drain.
Melt butter in the same saucepan, add cheese, salt and pepper, and peas; stir to coat. Serve hot.
Watch out, though, these peas will be gone before you know it!
