Peach Pomegranate Fizz Cocktail

Peach Pomegranate Fizz Cocktail
If I'm going to have friends over for cocktails, vodka is usually my preferred choice.  It mixes easily, has a wide selection of flavors, and is usually the easy-to-please ingredient on your home bar cart.
While there are plenty of vodkas out there to choose from, I encourage you to choose Fou-Dre.  Pronounced "FOO-DRAY," which is French for lightening, this vodka contains infusions of pomegranate, ginger, and other fresh fruits -- and it's produced in South Carolina.
That sounds tasty, but you'll fall in love with the founder's story.  I actually found her when looking for artisans to participate in one of our community events and she sent me a bottle to try.  Chanel Turner is one of the few women leading companies in the spirits space, and she's working a full time job while trying to launch her brand.  That's something I can appreciate!
While her spirit is hard to find in stores, if you do see it, grab it.  And try this quick and easy cocktail; Fou-Dre makes it pretty easy because it is one of the few vodkas that tastes good without doing much to it!  This is a great brunch cocktail or just something light for a nightcap.
