Autumnal Writing Prompts

Autumnal Writing Prompts
While there are no rules when it comes to journaling, we couldn't help but notice how much you enjoyed our previous feature: 4 Writing Prompts to Help You Live the Good Life.
So, we're going to release more writing prompts; like our tea, they're paired perfectly with the season. Pour yourself a hot cuppa -- perhaps a cup of Reading Nook Blend Tea -- and let's journal.

Word Prompt: COLOR PALETTE

One of the things that comes to mind immediately when I think of fall is the amazing color: the dramatic tones in the sky, the last hurrah of summer flowers, and of course the wonderful display of the leaves changing.
That leads me to the journaling word prompt of "color palette." What colors are in your life (literally & figuratively)? Do they come in shades? What does that mean?
You could try using just a single color palette for the prompt. If need be, drop by the paint store and get one of those color strips to inspire you. I love the names of paints -- you might find them inspirational, too! Or, maybe you could whip out your colored pencils and pens and create a color palette in your journal to guide you along.

Question Prompt: What can I celebrate in my life right now?

There's nothing like an attitude of gratitude -- and in autumn we have a whole holiday dedicated to giving thanks for the fall harvest bounty. You know that Plum Deluxe is all about celebrating life's moments. What moments deserve celebrating right now?
Journal on what you'd like to acknowledge as well as how you might "celebrate." Celebrating doesn't have to mean cake and a party (although that is always a good idea); consider things like treating yourself to a nice meal for a job well done, sending a thank you card(s) to those involved in the success, etc.

Question Prompt: Where can turning my perspective inward support me?

Fall is a time when we witness Mother Nature's great orchestration of turning inward. Change in the air prepares us for the coming winter season.
We all know that change is necessary, inevitable, unavoidable. So, instead of bracing for impact, how about focusing on how change can support you? How can you "go with the flow"? Specifically, autumn begins a transition of looking inward. Where is it time to go inward?
